I (Joseph) make sure you’re always in the best of hands. I don’t hire anyone I don’t have 100% faith in—even if it would win me more work or cut costs. Instead, I opt for accomplished photographers who embody the JNP style & ethos.
Note: I don’t work from a shot list. In a decade of experience, I find that they distract from the moments that are truly most important. Don’t stress—I’ll still get all the classic shots.

My team and I deliver 100+ photos per hour, and you can either print them through our shop or your printer of choice. There are no restrictions on downloading your images. You’ll receive a personal-use copyright release so you can post unaltered images to your social media, too.

The best way to ensure booking us as your first choice photographer is to reach out 9-12 months before your wedding day. Starting early puts you and your fiancé in a better position to secure the photographer you want for your wedding.

While Guatemala is our home base—and we’re most familiar with the venues and other vendors here—we do occasionally take international weddings. Please submit an inquiry, and let’s start a conversation.

Yes! In fact, we strongly advise against hiring any wedding vendor who does not provide you with a contract up front. We would be happy to send you a sample contract and schedule a free consultation with you and your fiancé to answer any questions you may have.

Yes! Our professional association provides our equipment, indemnity, and general liability insurance through Lockton Affinity. Our coverage is sufficient for all major venues in the U.S. and Europe who require it.

Familiarity. When you book us, you benefit by hiring a bilingual photography team who has developed strong relationships with local wedding vendors in Guatemala. An additional benefit is that you save on travel fees and encourage sustainability by hiring locally.

Yes—we’ve worked with many trustworthy and professional videographers who have experience filming in Guatemala. These companies share our philosophy of work, and they, too, avoid big production teams who bring unnecessary staff and equipment to your wedding. I use Leica M cameras and lenses. Known for creating the best optics in the world, Leica Camera has long been the brand of choice for some of history’s most renowned photographers. My team and I work light and easy to minimize distractions on your wedding day—no big lights, no unnecessary parts. For projects requiring analog photography, I offer Polaroid and 35mm film photography using Kodak film.

Absolutely! The team I have built over the last 10 year is compiled of trained photographers who each bring a decade or more photographing and have been a part of the JNP team for years. We are friends first, colleagues second. I cannot stress enough how important our relationships outside of the wedding day are. We do life together, and as a result work intimately together to make your wedding day memories incredibly special.
